Ceremia's and Draumalands history |
I started my breeding years, in Labradors, back in 2007 under the kennel name Draumalands.
I have had Labradors since 2004 and since then have shown them and bred them. We still own our homebred girl, ISSHCH Draumalands Mount Etna who will be 13 years old in April 2023. After we had our twin boys in 2014 we decided to add another breed to our family, a smaller breed and we came to the conclusion that Tibetan Spaniel would be perfect. So we had our first tibbie into our home in 2018 from a well known and successful breeder in Iceland, Tíbráar Tinda. Before we got our Ceremia´s kennel name for our tibbies we had 2 tibbie litters under the Draumalands name, in 2020 and 2021. I really liked the name Karamia which is a Buddism name and means beloved Peace but wasn't available at the FCI, so we came across Ceremia´s which is very similar and I think has the same meaning. Our kennel name is approved by The Icelandic Kennel Club as well as by The FCI. Tibbies are such a loving little dogs, they have huge characters, stubborn, curious, fun and are great family dogs. We imported a beautiful tibbie male, CIB MultiCh. Piece of Cake Livolly from Poland in 2020 with a pedigree from Finland as both his parents are from Kiiramanna kennel in Finland. He stayed with us for 18 months before going back home to Poland. We had 2 litters from him. We have now since bought a male from Tashi-Gong kennel in Finland, Tashi-Gong Legend. We are very excited about him being a part of our family and are looking forward to showing him in Iceland. We strive for breeding healthy and well temperamented Tibetan Spaniels that are easy to have as family pets as well as tibbies who can go out hiking and running with the family. Our future Tibetan Spaniel litters will be under the Ceremia´s Kennel name. We are a member of The Icelandic Kennel Club as well as the Tibetan Spaniel Club in Iceland. |
